It seems the Vancouver Real Estate boom is over. According to statistics released by the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board, home sales are down more than 50 % from this time last year. With an abundance of properties for sale, savvy sellers realize the benefits of having their properties professionally staged. The following is a testimony from one of our recent clients...
" The transformation of our apartment to a comfortable, spacious, and clean looking living space by Reveal Estate was remarkable. The colours, styles and spacing blended to create a smooth flow throughout. The sun room was particularly beautiful as an extension of the master bedroom. Everyone was impressed how a fifteen year old apartment could look new. Even though there are multiple units for sale in our building, we had no difficulty getting two offers for the full asking price within five days of listing the property. The new owners loved it so much, they wanted the furniture as well! "

Hi Jackson, very nice and comfortable. I could cozy up with a book in this space. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the market picks up for you soon. Not quite so bad in toronto.
Jackson - looks so nice and soothing. I would think that most of the new homeowners would want to keep everything you placed in the homes. You are the man.
Love the porch but I want to see what else you did. This is so soft and beautiful that I am not surprised that the buyers wanted to keep it just the way it was. Please show more!
Jackson- That is just so pretty. Your stagings are truly a work of art. I thought of you this week, as I helped a friend stage a small home with contemporary furinture, instead of the same old transitional stuff. I got to use blues and browns!!!
Jackson - you took the room from cold and stark to a hip and sophisticated look. I could absolutely imagine spending time in that room. And I'm quite sure Maureen is right as I know personally I'd want to keep everything you put in the room!! Awesome.
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group; Staging Before & After Pictures.

Nice staging Jackson, as always! Let us see the adjoining bedroom now please!!
Hi Jackson,
It looks like no one is going to get immunity from the mortgage meltdown. That makes execptional staging more important than ever.
Hey Jackson,
What a spectacular use of blue, white and grey! Just delightful. There's always a stark, but rich simplicity to your work, Jackson... it's a lovely touch.

What a comfortable and soothing combination of colors. Great job.
Jackson - I alway look forward to seeing your staging jobs. I love the light and fresh look.
Jackson ~ Love the furniture and rug together! Yes, if you have more photos of this home, please share!
Jackson - it looks great. I really love that artwork. Lavendar is one of my favorite colors.
Hi Jackson, you always manage to use blue in such interesting ways! :) I try to use blue but it just doesn't seem warm enough to me. Maybe it is because you are near the ocean and the light is differnet?
Love this room, I have the same artwork. Can you say where you picked up the area rug?
love your before and after photos. I agree that staging is the key to selling. I am a home stager in Florida and its a must. Unfortunately alot of people in the real estate field either don't know much about home staging or they believe they can do just as good of a job as an actual licensed and certified home stager. Good luck in your field. Love to see more photos

Jackson, another stellar job. We count on you for excellence. And they want the furniture too. That saves time on the destaging huh?
Jackson, What a wonderful testimonal of your work. The room looks great! Congrats on the sale!
I just love that chair-and it's in my corporate colors! No wonder I'm so drawn to it...besides the obvious staging skill involved! Actually, I found that staging benefits from the beginning of a downturn in the market. It's when it goes on and on (like Michigan) when things start to deteriorate...but I digress! Great job!
Hello Jackson, I agree with Juliet in that the colors are stark yet very eye catching. Don't ya just love those rugs that really tie everything together?
I love the colors, very soothing and clean and fresh, you are terrific at what you do. Continued success

Thanks to everybody for taking time to check out this post and leave a comment. The slow market has resulted in a huge increase in business and not much time to blog. Finally, staging is truly becoming a necessity!
Selling the furniture, artwork and accessories we place in homes is proving to be another stream of income and as Terrylynn suggests, it certainly makes "striking" the property easier!
The area rug (where would we stagers be without our area rugs?) is from "Canadian Tire". For my American friends, they sell much more than tires ;)
Some of you asked to see the adjoining bedroom and although I don't find this shot portfolio worthy due to the "blown out" windows and lamps, here is a peek...
Many of you know how I like to take "mirror shots" so I thought I would throw in this one from the dining room of the same property...
Although I don't have a great deal of time to spend on my blog, I truly appreciate the kind comments and words of encouragement. Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous work. The transformation is amazing. That white tile is always a challenge and can make a room feel so dated, but you handled it beautifully.
Hi Jackson! As always, beautiful, outstanding work!!
Great work Jackson! Your furnishings are always top notch. We've been selling more of our inventory lately as well. Keep up the beautiful transformations.
Oddly enough, I'm selling LESS inventory! I always offer it, but money seems generally tighter all round. Great proportions and scale on this one, Jackson. Well done.
Love the mirror shot and the mirror too! Great colors and very soothing color palette for a late Friday night. Happy weekend Jackson!!
Hi Jackson, your photos are beautiful! You know how to make a room look very warm and inviting!
